FAILURE IS NOT FATAL, SUCCESS IS NOT PERMANENT

well, its been sometime I have written about topics other than SEO. I have been busy thinking about how to upgrade my blog and SEO rankings. So today I want to post something different.

First of all, have you ever heard of this quote by Mike Ditka, the legendary Chicago Bears Coach of the 80’s and 90’s. This is one of those quotes that have really been an inspiration for me every time I was feeling down or when I procrastinated while doing something.

What does this quote mean to me? This quote had given me strength to carry on and the push whenever I am feeling satisfied with my effort. How can one quote gives such a great inspiration.

Let me start with Failure. Why start with something negative. It is because so many people are afraid to do something because they are afraid to fail even before starting. Why are so many people afraid to fail? Take a look at this.

When you are afraid of something it will keep popping up in your mind. You kept on visualizing what will happen if you failed in achieving your goals or dreams. The loss of money, loss of dignity, fear of being scammed and so many other scenarios kept playing in your mind. As many Motivators kept saying what you focus on expand. Meaning this visualization of failure, which is a result of your fear to fail, will then ensure that you WILL fail from the word go.

So, it is important for us to get rid of our fear to Fail. It doesn’t mean that we have to be gung-ho in our approach but it means that after doing our planning, research and whatever else we have to do, we have to do it. We have to take our plan into action because as Mike Ditka said Failure is not Fatal! It is not like we will not be able to get up and go back to our planning table and do another plan and go at it again. The most important ingredient that you need to have to achieve your Goals or Dreams is the Believe in Yourself. Remember you have made id to the world because you are the only one among millions of sperm which managed to be one with the Egg. You were stronger than those millions and had more determination to reach your goal! That is what going to get you to your next goal and your goals after that.

But isn’t failure is a habit and so do success? Yes. It is true failure and also success is a habit. In order to reach your goal and achieving success you have to change the past. How can we do that? It is by change the pat habits that have made us unable to achieve our goal. And one of those habit is the Fear to Fail.

Success is not permanent.Well.. what can be truer than that. For me, true success will only be permanent when we leave this world. As long as we live, we have to achieve success after success and during that journey some failures too.

True success is what you are remembered for after you have passed from this world. What have you contribute to the betterment of your family, your friends, your partners in business, your society, the world as a whole, etc. So success is actually a journey for us to make an impact to the closest people around us, our children, our spouse, our family, our friends. It doesn’t stop when you have achieved certain monetary goals or at certain status. It is about be able to make a difference everyday in our lives. Its about what we can give instead of what we can get.

Failure is Not Fatal; Success is Not Permanent. A very powerful quote indeed!

Shortcut to practical advice about the topic of the infinity downline review – make sure to read the publication. The times have come when concise information is truly within your reach, use this opportunity.

It’s bizarre the number of people who swear by the benefits of Positive Thinking but have very little to show for it. Of course, positive thinking is far better than negative thinking, but it is nevertheless just thinking – and most of the thinking that we do exercises our conscious mind, that small part of our mind that plays little or no part in the creation of our everyday lives. Rather, it is our programmed subconscious mind that creates our automatic behaviour as a result of which our version of reality unfolds before our very eyes. It is our subconscious that creates stress, anxiety and the fear of taking the brave and courageous decisions that we need to often take if we are, indeed, to follow up on our positive thinking. Of course, the kind of decisions that I’m talking about are only “brave” or “courageous” to normal, crazy people.

Even though positive thinking is better than the negative alternative, thinking stops doing. Or worse, recent work in the US indicates that positive thinking has blinded otherwise well-informed business people from the obvious pitfalls of pursuing a certain course of action – senior figures in the banking world get a particular mention! That aside, at very best, too much thinking is a dangerous thing.

If you really wanted to pursue the route of Personal Development, you would be far better of trying a little positive doing! So, having prioritized the things that are truly important to your success and happiness, actually doing just the important things that need to be done to achieve your goals, to Change Your Life or, indeed, to play the perfect game of golf – if that is what turns you on! If you have financial worries or your business is suffering as a result of the economic downturn, if you feel inadequate in certain business or social situations, if your relationship is in difficulties or if your health is deteriorating, if you hate your job or hate your life – you have got to take action. By action I mean real action, not the normal automatic reaction that makes things worse rather than better and, indeed, not more of the same. If you want something different in your business, career or life, you’ve got to do something different – thinking about it will not only get you nowhere, it may actually convince you to take no action at all.

But, how will you know what positive action needs to be taken, what doing needs to be done? Well, you can’t do anything without a clear and present mind. Too often we are paralysed for want of stepping back from the perceived mess in which we find ourselves, too often the normal mind is too muddled – and positive thinking may actually muddle it more. To embark on the correct positive action, you need to take one step back from all your cares, worries and frustrations. You need to take or make a few minutes each day to experience the reality of the here and now. You need to come to your senses – you have five of them, it’s time that you used them. In doing so, you will be more present which, in turn, means that you will have presence – the hallmark of all great positive doers.

The issue with change is not so much what we think of change, but rather how we respond to it. In all honesty, there are probably few words that throw up such a kaleidoscope of emotions and differing interpretations for us.

On the one hand, change is exciting. We all wish our lives to be ‘different’ in some way, after all, there is no progress without change. However, the word can be viewed in a negative light, as change is as likely to be bad as it is good.

Synonyms for the word ‘changeable’ include: ‘uncertain’, ‘volatile’, ‘unstable, ‘unsettled’. These words throw up emotions for us that make us feel ‘vunerable’, ‘unsure’ and / or ‘insecure’.

There is a small corner in all of us which likes to feel safe and secure and change is not compatible with that. However, after change has taken places, we very often call it ‘progress’, ‘evolution’, ‘expansion’, ‘growth’ or ‘advancement’, and this throws up a far more positive set of emotions.

Therefore, it appears that it is not change itself which scares us so much as the transition process that it entails – that step into the unknown. We feel comfortable with the stability of things as they are ‘now’. Now feels safe because of its familiarity; yet our ‘now’ is changing every day.

Maybe it is not change that we fear so much as the loss of control that we associate with change. Change inherently carries an element of risk. Sometimes that perceived risk is so big that it prevents us making changes that we need to despite our unhappiness with our current situation.

At the other end of the scale, there are times when we have all been guilty of making changes just for the sake it. We change our hair color, we change the layout of our bedroom, we may even change where we work.

I used to change jobs every 3 or 4 months, as no job I ever found was the ‘right job’. I believed that if I found the ‘right job’ I would be happy. However, someone once pointed out to me that you could move to a different planet and everything that really matters would still be the same, because you are still taking ‘you’ with you.

Why? We do it to avoid making the changes that really matter in our lives. Deep down, it might be our choice of career that is making us unhappy, but we will change our hair color ‘just to make ourselves feel better’, because that is an easy and manageable change for us to cope with.

Seeing as change is inevitable, why not embrace it? Use change as an opportunity to evaluate what your life, and course correct. Use it as your key to success. That’s what successful people do, so why not you too?

As a final point, I will give you a quote by Charles Darwin – “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”
