Many people still have a very vague idea of what the subconscious mind is all about. Many people have a very limited to no knowledge at all about this wonderful part of our mind which is doing much more than many people even dare to think.
Your subconscious mind is guiding and shaping your life every single day. This happens with or without your being aware of it.
Your subconscious mind is the part or your mind that creates the visible part of your life. However, what you see and experience in your life today is NOT who you are. It’s just what you are experiencing. If you want to change what you see and have in your life you need to reprogram your subconscious mind.
The first effective way to reprogram your subconscious mind is by becoming “aware” of your thoughts. How can you do that? Of course, it would be impossible to become aware of EVERY single thought you have in a day, but the goal here is to start to become aware of your main thoughts during the day. To do this, start dedicating 10 minutes a day to your thoughts. Just sit down for 10 minutes and try to “watch” what you are thinking about. Are they positive thoughts? Are they negative thoughts? By being an observer of your own thoughts, you will be able to detect what you like and what you don’t like about your thought process.
The second effective way to reprogram your subconscious mind is through visualization. What is visualization? To visualize something is closely related to thinking about something, but the difference is that it is going deeper into details. Just like a movie in your head. Visualize your goals, visualize your house, the way you want to look, the people you want to be with… Visualize EVERYTHING you want to attract. visualization is a very powerful tool to reprogram your subconscious mind.
The third effective way to reprogram the subconscious mind is by emotions. Emotions that you put in your thoughts and visualization make the whole process much stronger and faster.
Have you ever recalled a bad memory where you felt the emotions all over again? This happens because with the memory comes the emotions of the memory. This makes it almost as strong as when the real thing actually happened. This is why putting emotions to the thoughts and visualization of what you want will activate the process and the results.
Thoughts -Visualizations -emotions. There you have a very strong combination that will arm you to be able to reprogram your subconscious mind. Just remember, it works both ways. So make sure you concentrate on positive thinking and chase away the negative thoughts. If you do this, you will start noticing some changes in your life.
If you want to be in control of your life, take control of your thoughts, and therefore reprogram your subconscious mind.

Read realistic points of view in the topic of emotional freedom technique training – your individual knowledge pack.

Are you ready to find out how to get more done in less time? Here are 3 simple steps to get you started.

First and foremost you need to be organized. Most of the people who earn six or seven figures and only work 20 hours per week or less are highly organized individuals. In addition to being organized you need to prioritize. For most of us, 80% of what we spend our time doing, only makes 20% of the difference. People who only work part-time and make six and seven figures know exactly what matters and that’s what they spend their time doing. They skip or delegate everything else.

Step 1 — Get organized and prioritize. Make a list of everything there is to do and handle in your life, your home and your business or job. That may seem like a daunting task that could take days if not months. Just sit down and start listing things you either want or need to get done in no particular order, as they pop into your head. This list of “to do’s” is finite and in reality will probably only take you an hour or two to create.

Step 2 – Take a good look at the items on your list and decide what items will make the most impact on your income and quality of life. Sit in silence for 20 minutes and meditate over your list. The most impactful items on your list will start jumping off the page. Highlight those items.

Step 3 – Move all of the highlighted items from your list into your calendar. Schedule when you are going to do each one and be realistic when determining how much time to allow for each item. For example, you might schedule one of them for Tuesday from 4pm-6pm, another one on Wednesday from 8pm-10pm, and so on.

If you are unable to get all of the items into your calendar within the next two weeks, then you need to refine your highlighted list again before entering them into your schedule.

This process helps you get organized, focus on the 20% that matters most and will help prevent you from taking on more tasks than you can handle effectively. If you are unable to complete a task during the scheduled time, re-schedule the task for another time.

Once you fully switch from keeping a running “to do” list to scheduling every task, you will feel more relaxed, be more efficient, have more time and you will get more done. “To Do” lists tend to be weights on our shoulders. They make us feel like we will never be caught up, never get it all done and often they cause us to focus on the least important tasks.

When you have a running “to do” list you are more likely to stress over what you need to get done and when and how it’s going to get done. By simply scheduling what needs to get done, it will get done when it’s time to do it. No more stressing or agonizing over it.

Be sure to leave open space in your calendar for interruptions and putting out fires. Also, schedule family time, exercise time, alone time, mealtime and organization time (go through your mail, file, etc). This will help keep you organized and in balance.

If you are already retired then I am sure you will remember the sense of heightened anticipation that began as soon as you realized that you were on the final countdown when it came to working for a living. If you are still working but coming up to retirement then I am certain that you will know what I mean! You cannot wait to have all the time in the world to kick back and enjoy life without being tied into a contract or having to work every day for no personal reward whatsoever. Retirement is something that we all look forward to immensely, but some seniors are mightily disappointed when they find out just how far away from the dream the reality actually is.

The honest truth about retirement is that it can be so boring that many lose the will to live, quite literally. With nothing to do but sit and stare out of the window, some seniors just give up. They do not appreciate the freedom of time they have because they no longer feel the sense of achievement that they felt during their working lives. However, retirement is what you make of it. It is possible to enjoy every minute, to revel in the freedom that effectively being our own boss brings. You just have to manage your time effectively. There are many ways to actually do that, but you need to come to terms with being retired and not having any obligations before you can fully appreciate just how wonderful a thing time management actually is.

The first step towards managing your time effectively is compiling lists, believe it or not. Make lists of what you enjoy doing, how you want to make the most of your time, what you want to do or achieve before you die, what activities your ideal day would involve and any other similar lists that come into your head.

“To do” lists are wonderful things because they are designed to remind the person who wrote them exactly what they need to do. They manage your time, which is exactly what seniors need to do in order to enjoy their retired lives. If you write down exactly what you want to achieve on paper then it will not fall out of your head at a moment’s notice. The piece of paper that you use to list all of the above will act as a reminder of how you can enjoy life to the fullest in retirement, and you can refer back to it when you are bored!

Designating certain days to specific events may be a tactic that some seniors choose to employ. This gives you some sort of routine so you have the time to make sure that you are taking care of your general health as well as your mental well being. Establishing a routine will allow you to remain organized, visit your family, take care of your household chores and still leave time for social events and activities that put the fun into life. However, make sure that you do inject some sort of activity in there, because a staid and boring routine of household chores and family will only leave you wishing you were back at work. Retirees are not supposed to think like that at all so avoid it at all costs!

Planning your life according to a timetable takes all of the fun out of living, and spontaneity doesn’t have to go out of the window just because you are a senior! You should take every opportunity that is given to you. This could include anything, but especially refers to activities you have always wanted to do but never had the time for when you were working. Living every day as if it were your last is a good idea, regardless of age, so live every day by this philosophy and you won’t go far wrong.
